CAPRESE SKEWERS

A summer favorite that's perfect for parties or to take on the go!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes (washed)

  • 1 cup mozzarella pearls

  • 5-8 basil leaves

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (optional)

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)

  • Fresh ground black pepper (optional)

  • 6 inch skewers

DIRECTIONS:

  1. On a skewer, place 1 cherry tomato, followed by 1/2 basil leaf (folded), one mozzarella pearl, another 1/2 basil leaf (folded), and another cherry tomato.

  2. Optional: Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and top with fresh ground pepper.
